Brian Moote
Since the moment that Brian Moote stepped on stage and thoroughly entertained 3 people at an 11pm open-mic show, it was obvious that being a comedian was a career that had chosen him. He has the unique ability to relate his material to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. His goal while performing is to facilitate a good time for everybody in the room, regardless of whether that room is a packed house comedy club or a pizza parlor with only 7 marginally interested people in it. His material covers a wide variety of topics, ranging from current politics, to his attempts at seriously injuring his brothers as a child growing up in rural Washington. He has a very relaxed and conversational style which guarantees that no two shows will ever be exactly the same, and his dynamic stage presence captivates audiences. In 2007, he performed in over 300 shows at comedy clubs, colleges, casinos, and theatres throughout the United States and in Canada. That’s right folks, even Canada, he went International. The combination of his strong work ethic and the originality of his material, has earned him the respect of many of the stand up comedy veterans he has worked with. Last year, he was selected as a finalist in the Bud Light/Maxim Magazine Real Men of Comedy Tour, and as a Regional Finalist in Comedy Central’s Open Mic Fight. Currently Brian is based out of Boston, MA where he is a regular at Mottley's, as well as Nick’s Comedy Stop, the Comedy Studio, the Comedy Vault, and the Comedy Connection.
